If you are new to Balmoral Nippers the enrollment and registration process will be new to you... so please read the "General Club info" tab to the left and follow the FAQ's
Firstly its also important to understand that due to the great popularity of the program that there are only a limited number of new places available each season; and while we run one of the largest programs in Sydney, we are still limited by time and the amount of beach available to use and the equipment.
We will open enrollment and the ballot only once, this is run pre-season typcially in early Sept, which you will be informed of (if you have registered online via email to your registered email address) and we will also post seasonal information here on the site. However the onus is on you to beware of the timing.
Existing participants and their siblings are given a 2 week priority enrollment period to re-enroll, at the same time new families will be able enter the ballot for any available places.
***We do not reserve places, nor do we operate on a first in best dressed basis, nor do we run a waitlist. So if you miss out on a place this season you will not be offered a place if someone else happens to drop out mid season.
Enrollment for new particpants is a three stage process
1. - REGISTRATION - First you MUST register your details online at the website and you will then be able to receive email updates to the email address you registered.
Please Remember your registration details. (username and password)
Do not under any circumstance re-register if you have been in the ballot previously or if you have participated previously as computers and databases only operate on the information YOU provide so we cant trace if you have been a past member or if you have been in the ballot previoulsy if you have re-registered.
2. - ENROLMENT - Login to the enrollment window only ONCE IT IS OPEN, then you can re-enroll past particiapant/s and their new sibling/s once the enrollement window is open, BUT you only have 2 weeks to do this to secure your place, if you fail to do this during this time your place maybe given to a new applicant in the Ballot.
3. - BALLOT - If you are new to Nippers and once the enollment window is open, you will be able to put the name/s down for a position in the new season, you will be informed latest by early October, via email directly, if you have been successful in gaining a place.
The Ballot is a random selection process and success for a place can not be influenced. If you have been succesful in the ballot you then MUST complete your enrollment via the enrolment tab to your left, and then you will be required to pay for your enrollment within a week and prior to the new season.
Please read the website and get information about the enrollment ballot process. The ballot process runs only once the enrollment window is open which is likely in the first or second week of September, and the outcome of the ballot will not be known until early Oct when you will be informed.
OTHER NOTES..
- Also its very important to understand enrollments must only be done by parents or legal guardians of the childrnen and due to the participation disclaimers required we can not accept enrollments from relations nor well meaning friends.
- Before enrolling into the Balmoral Nippers program, please take a moment to consider your committment to the program as Balmoral Nippers is a parental supervision and participation program and it requires you to be present in order that your child participates in any water based activiites. We find this is often too much for some familes on a Sunday morning but if you are offered a place and you then dont come you are potentially taking the place of someone who would love to be involved.
- Payment - THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO PAY FOR YOUR ENROLMENT and thats online with Paypal.com we do not accept unsolicited cheques sent to the club, nor cash, nor direct deposit, if you dont have a Paypal.com account already, it is a very convenient way to transfer monies online and if you are new to Nippers you can go to www.paypal.com in advance and get an account in advance so you wont be disappointed as it takes a few days to register an account.
